Best beginner clams That are Forgiving

I have a 20 gallon tank that is a year and three months old I will be upgrading to 100+ in about a year. My question is what clam can I put on the sand bed that is forgiving with water swings and mistakes beginners might make?

This ^^^^ If you are unwilling to keep things stable and provide enough full spectrum lighting, then I would skip Tridacnas for now. Once you get your larger tank going and stable, then you can step into clams. And buy this book on Amazon while you get things in order Giant clams
