I'm thinking of giving biopellets a try in one of my reactors. I know there are a variety of brands out there, has anyone seen a difference between them? Which one seems best?

I don't think that they've really been around long enough for people to have tried multiple brands and therefore be able to make a valid comparison. That being said, I've been running WM EcoBak since August and have had good results.

I ran the WM for just over 3 months & they didn't do anything changed to the pellets from beadfilters.com & in 5 weeks my nitrates went from about 20 to zero have no idea why one worked & the other did nothing changed about my set up except I took out the MW pellets & put in the beadfilter ones

I suspect many of the different brands come from the same place.

For example, WM, Vertex, BRS, all look identical.

Tried NPX and wasnt a fan of the results. Took them offline 3-4 months later and coral/tank looks 100x better now.

the ones from beadfilters aren't like the WM ones I had they are a bit more cream colored & are round

I run warner EcoBak. I have been running them since the end of June 2010. I have not had one issue and they work just as promised. I have not tried any other pellets.
