Well guys, my reef is all set after spending around 4K I got my fish and now 3 corals!
Didn’t expect prices on coral to get that high after Asia stopped exporting but still very happy! To accommodate me my bf made an ato system that goes from the rodi unit with an electric valve to my sump all that remains is to start it up :) Glad I joined the reefing community in spite of the many headaches to get there. I hope to be able to still benefit from your experience and knowledge. Just want to share the end product:

Cheers everyone! It’s all worth working hard for ;)

Looks great!
If that brass boiler drain valve on the bottom of that tank is holding rodi water, the brass will be eaten away over time and pinholes will leak out of the brass part.
It's best to use all plastic

Interesting I’ll tell him about it. We were thinking of replacing it with pvc to have more flow through it. Thanks!

Looking good.

What kind of lights are those? Both the DT and the fuge. I'm thinking about changing out my fuge light for something that will work in the space better.

I have the current USA ic pro led fixtures but would probably not recommend for sps. Lps are doing good so far. The fuge light is IM chaetomax and no complaints there. Space saver and adequate performance.

Tank looks gorgeous. It's going to look great once things really start to grow.

Yeah, brass is 70% copper, you really don't want that for holding ro/di. Swap for PVC or stainless steel. I also have one of the IM Chaetomax's, but wasn't super happy with the light output. With a sump that big (super nice sump) you could have way more growth with more light. Think about upgrading in the future to a light with about 10x the output. (I run roughly the same size sump, with a 115w LED over it, and get awesome growth)

Is the solenoid on the low pressure or the high pressure side of the RO/DI? Make sure it's on the low pressure side, a high-pressure side solenoid will fail eventually.. (ask me how I know :) )
