Best bristleworm predators

Which fish are the best bristleworm predators? I have a neon psuedochromis, but all he does is hide in my star polyps ( apparently he thinks he is a clownfish). I can't have anything too aggressive, because I don't want my small clown or my bangaii cardinals to be harassed. I was thinking a smaller wrasse of some sort.

Six line wrasse is one of the best, but as you know they are aggressive.

My yellow wrasse eats them. He hunts all day. They don't get big and arent aggressive.

It's probably best to also address why there are so many bristleworms...usually too much detritus.

+1 ^. But our yellow flank wrasse does eat them have witnessed it. Yellow corris wrasses are good hunters as well

Not my fish but same species and coloring. Only issued is he wants to
Be king of the tank and I think he is slowly picking off my small hermits when e doesn't get fed for a day or 2 haha

No crabs in my tanks. I'm not sure why there's so many. I feed every other day and the fish devour it. The LPS get some pellets also. There may be times when a few pellets land on the sand and the worms come from everywhere to grab them.

Did you purchase live rock at any time? I have seen rock come in with literally hundreds of worms on it!

My yellow corrise wrasse has a blast with bristle worms. He swims all over the tank with one in his mouth like he's showing it off. He spits it out and then takes it back in - over and over again.

A coral banded shrimp is very effective at eliminating almost all bristleworms.

Haven't bought rock in about 8 years. I can't have a coral banded shrimp as my arc eye hawk eats all shrimp. Looks like a wrasse is in my future.

What's your flow like?

Do you sift sand when you water change?

How often do you water change and what percentage?

My wife uses a turkey master on the rocks whoever she is in the tank.

I never vacuum/stir my sand bed.

We change about 20g of water every 2 weeks.

We have a 1200gph return and 2 2400 gph powerheads on a wave maker.

I always heard that a foxface and/or a coral banded shrimp are the most prolific hunters of The Worms Of Bristle.

I know you said no shrimp, but how about an arrow head crab? If you get a decent size one I'm sure the hawk won't be as excited to tear it up. Just my .02.

Why would you want to get rid of the BW's in the first place!? IMO, having plenty myself I find them to be THE best part of any CUC! They are not destructive in any way, nor do they bother anything.
