Best bulb for growing Chaeto from Home Depot?

I can't seem to find a recent thread on this, but I have bought several bulbs from Home Depot - and none seem to grow my Chaeto really well. What bulbs from Home Depot/Lowe's are you all using that are working wonders?!

An old school 40 watt incandescent lightbulb I found at the dollar general seems to be growing mine fairly well, double size in 1.5 months 12 hrs a day.

What I've been told the yellower the light the better just not a bug lamp

Everyone kept saying in other threads to use daylight spectrum LED or flourecent. Thats what I got. Will see how it goes.

The one I used is Sylvania brand and it says 6500k on it.
