Hi!

I have the TMC habitat 60, very young tank, few fish and corals in there all doing very well.

I have some algea coming through that is like a green stain on the rock, getting darker by the day.

130 litre display tank, quite a decent amount of rock in there with sand bed. Sand bed is nice and clear though.

I have: 2 Conch snails (doing my sand bed wonders) 5 hermits, 6 turbo snails.

They can't quit get their way through the algea growing.

Do I get more of the same, or are there some inverts out there that will help with clearing the rock algea ?

Thanks

Hi There I have only bought snails so far. Have a good mix. Maybe add nassarius and Astraea to your CUC. Both are good to watch…

Common ones are Trochus. They can flip themselves back over so are desirable. One recent addition I've found that is an amazing CUC that no one mentions is ox tongue nerite. They do such a good job of cleaning.

A sea hare is amazing for algae. I have one. Got rid of my hair algae outbreak and keeps everything super clean. I do supp feed him dried nori cause he needs it and Im attached to him, but I hear a lot of people get one to control algae and then re home it. I just keep my dude cause is is awesome and does an amazing job. He also is very peaceful and wont hurt anything including corals.
