i have a bluewave 7 (dual 250w) with radiums and it is the sweetest crisp white with blue i have seen!! heck you dont even need atinic!!

Im running lumatek with a 250 radium.
Is the reason that people go with galaxy or blue wave, because their magnetic? Whats difference? lumens output? overdrive?

the galaxy ballast was made specifically to drive the radium 20k.

I have both the galaxy and Bluewaves and I prefer the bluewave for the radiums as its a more crisp color.

PS Amanda, thats what coral corral also used to run. not sure if they still do or not since i have not looked but as you know they have great color

I have radiums on icecap ballast... I can't compare them but I am perfectly happy.

There is too much lost in a photo due to setting to see the major differences. I'd say the galaxy is 15% bluer and 5-10% dimmer.
