what’s the best glue to attach corals and or frag plugs to rock? i’m currently using one and not very happy with it or maybe i’m doing it wrong

Thicker is usually better.

For me personally, I use the BRS super glue. The big bottle lasts forever. It's the perfect thickness and you can use a good bit of it. If I use a good bit of those $3 ones you get at Walmart, I'll use the entire bottle in just a few frags.

Try using a fingernail or similar nylon brush to scrub the 'whatever' off the surface you are trying to glue to.
Even on in tank LR, this works for me to remove any bacterial film.
Wipe/dab the frag surface to be glued, apply some gel glue and place it on the surface - hold until firm. If on a frag plug, frequent dipping in tank water until set works well.

If under water, I find I need to mash the glue around a bit on LR, pull the frag out and add more glue, then mash it into the rock again, followed by pressing the glue into place around the frag base, then holding until it won't tip over.

And yes to the above - thicker is better. Look for gel

Gorilla glue gel works perfect for me my issue is cutting and filing down the frag post. Hate that.

BSI , no doubt

ok so this is the right method then, keep reapplying glue until it sticks. i had to apply glue 3 to 4 times until it finally stuck.... i thought i just had crappy EXPENSIVE glue

Just bought this. I'm excited to start using it!

I bought the same but ended up not liking it for gluing frags in the tank, BSI I found is much better. Awesome glue for anything not under water, awesome customer service, and a R2R sponsor

I agree with the glue-epoxy-glue method. I just glued some frags into my tank this evening and I did it two ways, with just super glue gel and some frags with the glue-epoxy-glue. From now on I will be using epoxy too, it's way easier to get them to stay in place

I like to use Gorilla super glue gel, or Jb waterweld (epoxy), or a combination of both for large stubborn pieces. Never had a problem with this method besides my skimmer overflowing.

BSI only because it's a big tube and comes with 4 nozzles even though I never manage to clog the first one. But otherwise ANY super glue gel

If gluing to a rough surface I sometimes use glue in combination with
