Best coral species/beginner corals

I have my eye on a few coral species [Mushroom Coral, Pineapple Coral, Xenia, etc..] but I've been looking at a lot of reef tank images, and i need more than just 5 or 6 corals.

How many corals should I get in an 88g with 80 lbs LR, and 20 lbs shelf rock?

How can I attach corals? Reef glue?

Also, can you recommend a few species? Not sure what they are called, but iv'e seen a few pictures with a large coral, and it looks like a half-disc or a long crescent. Can you ID that?

I would recommend any Euphyllia coral: Frogspawn, torch, hammer.
Also zoas, acans, and toadstool corals are some of my favorites.

Corals have really small bioloads, its not like getting fish. You can get as many as you want, as long as they are given enough space to grow and are not going to sting each other.

For example, Euphyllia corals will sting any coral within 6", except for other Euphyllia corals. Also, soft corals, especially leathers, can be toxic to nearby stony corals.
Xenia, Green Star Polyps, and palys will grow very fast, so you have to keep that in mind when placing them.

Most photosynthetic soft corals are beginner friendly. A long time ago when I had absolutely no guidance (13 years old to be exact) I kept a softie tank under a house light with no filter, heater or water changes. Don't judge me, I didn't know better back then.

As far as attachment super glue or epoxy works. I used to spend the extra money and buy corals already attached to rocks so that I could just dropped them in

i heard that superglue is nontoxic. if i use like gorilla glue or reef glue, can i just put it on the bottom of the coral and put it on the rock?
