Best dosing method for color

On a 120 with mostly acro's you need three mp40's.
I have 5 running, two on the left two in the back and one on the right.
Dropping alk to 8 is a must too.
I had my tank running a 9.5 and now it's steady at 8 and I see all colors of the rainbow.

Well this has been quite the learning experience... I'm not planning to keep all acros but I think another mp 40 and strategic placement may be in order

You don't need three mp40s, two will do the trick. Just mount them at opposite ends pointed right at eachother. Five mp40s sounds like a lot, maybe a bit to much.
Alk of 8 is good, much higher than that for an extended period of time and my tips start burning.

well i woke up this morning and check me alk and i got it to about 8.3 so i dosed half of my normal amount to bring it down a bit slower... But the good news is that i have pe from the acros i haven't seen it from in weeks!!!! Thank you guys so much for the help and hope everyone has a good day... Its been driving me nuts cause i can grow any coral i've ever wanted to try except acros so its been frustrating to say the least
