I’m going out of town for a week. I’ve ordered a Neptune AFS for my apex. I never feed dry food even though my Fishes eat anything. I have all small fish. What’s a good dry food for my auto feeder?

2 clown fish 3 Chromis 1 Cardinal and 1 wheelers Goby.

The PE Mysis dry food is pretty good. I wouldn't go as far as to say it's the best because I haven't tried a million different dry foods but all my fish eat it.

I like New Life Spectrum pellets, personally. They have a 0.5mm pellet that is perfect for smaller fish like wrasses, dartfish, chromis etc.

I agree! The pe mysis pellet isn't bad either, but NLS is my personal favorite when it comes to fish kibble

Definitely NLS pellets! Their uniform shape makes them great for autofeeders and they are a very high quality food.

Thanks for the replies. I went ahead and ordered NLS pellets. Would my auto feeder work properly if I mixed flake and pellet foods?

Depends on the auto-feeder. I've found the pellets work better as they are uniform in size and you can ensure consistent feeding volumes. Flakes tend to clump up for me, so I don't use them. I have the Eheim feeder.

Frankly, there's no need to mix flakes and pellets as the NLS pellets are a complete food.

Nls pellets gets my vote, been using that brand for 10+ years. I tried PE pellets and my fish did not eat them. So I [emoji724] to pe.
