Depends on what you are interested in, a pebble tooth round face cuter; then a snowflake or a dwarf golden. A nastier fang tooth then a jeweled or a fimbriated. Although I believe most people over estimate the tank sizes eels need, these 4 would even fit into today's tank recommendations. Most eels just settle into the rocks, find a cave or 2 to live in, and come out to eat or when you are feeding the rest of the tank. Not sure why with today's options people are so concerned about bioload, put in enough rocks, a protein skimmer, a refugium or carbon dosing, and monthly water changes and you're good to go. I rarely see my jeweled moray, he's still a juvi in a 40b grow out tank. I could keep him in there a good long while if not indefinitely; but I am ordering the 125g he's going in tomorrow. I do enjoy him immensely.
