i have let my tank sit for a while with two pink skunks and a sunrise dotty back, (10 gal by the way). I put a brain coral in to see how it would do in it and it’s been four weeks and it looks amazing, so what are good or even great starter corals?!

Good morning and.....

Green star polyps are cool looking but place them on a rock all by itself as it can smother almost everything.
Mushrooms can be fairly easy to care for.
Some leather corals can also be really easy.
The health of corals is is done by maintaining a stable system with optimal flow and lighting. Not sure what your system consists of but try those corals and see how you like them. I am sure others will add more to the list.

I’ve got zoas and palythoas. They haven’t died yet lol. But I did kill gsp....

In my defense, I didn’t have proper lighting for it.

I somehow killed GSP as well whilst moving rock chasing a blenny ..

I would suggest considering Zoas. Very easy an lots of colors.

Hammers usually fare well and provide some movement.....zoas and palys usaully work great too, but watch out for the palys thay spread like weeds. You don't want those. Some mushrooms can spread like wildfire too, so be selective in a small 10G.
Sometimes you just have to try different corals and see what wants to grow well in your new tank. I planned my new tank to be zoa/paly dominant with some torches and hammers, but after 7 months in, I'm having a hard time getting the zoas/palys going, but I put some SPS frags in and they are growing nicely. Sometimes you just have to take what your tank is gonna give you.

Try some blastos! Love mine and seem to be pretty easy to keep. Also, zoas being that there are so many colors and sizes. And then lastly maybe some kind of toadstool. There are several different kinds with different polyp extension and colors. Best of luck!!!

I ended up buying a hammer and it has been closed for A day now. All water levels are fine. I think the light is too bright?

rock or mini max nems...I know I know there nems but man they are hardy looks great and super easy to care for.
gorgs. just not the NPS ones they add alot of color and vertical lines to the tank and affordable to :)
rics and other shrooms easy but they can spread id you get the discos...
