What's your favorite fish for a frag tank? I was thinking about keeping a small wrasse in there since they're so good at keeping a watch out for coral pests, but the tank is shallow, so I'm rethinking that idea...

The tank is about 20 gallons 20" x 25" x 10"

I've seen a lot of 6-lines in frag tanks. It would be easy to make a cover for the tank using the BRS or similar material.

Six-line was the first thing that popped into my head too.

caution on the sixline, I've had 3, all in different tanks but, all are jumpers:(.
and when fully grown are mean little buggers:mad:!

maybe chromis, damsels, some other goby's?
@eatbreakfast what would you recommend?

In my 20g frag tank, the only fish is a Pseudocheilinops ataenia.

For frag tanks 30+, is about the only time I ever think a sixline has a place in this hobby. ;)

Salifin blenny, to take care of all the little patchs of algae on plugs. And pink streak wrasse for bugs.

Following as I have the same question, I'm trying to decide between a tang and rabbit fish for my 24x48 frag tank.

In my experience Tangs, especially Yellow Eye & Tomini, are less likely to go rogue and start picking on corals than Rabbitfish. That's why we use them instead. Most Rabbitfish don't bother coral but some do. Rabbitfish have been known to nip at zoanthids.
