I know, I know, I need to fix the nutrient problem before I deal with fish.

And I've already done that. My nitrates are at 10 ppm but the green hair algae is still covering a few of the rocks in my display. I just need to get rid of the algae so that the refugium can take over. I'm looking for a fish that would help get rid of the remaining algae.

Some ideas:
  • Yellow Tang
  • Blue Hippo Tang
  • Starry Blenny?
This is also open to invert suggestions. I have turbo and astrea snails, and they haven't made a dent.

I already have mollies in the tank and it doesn't look like they're touching the algae.

Thanks for your help

Have you considered a dolabella sea hare?

+1 for the sea hare. Just make sure you have somewhere to move it to as it has a voracious appetite for hair algae. They can quickly eat all of their food then starve.

I tried sea hairs, blennies, tangs and nothing touches gha for me. Get some fluconazole, treat your tank and say goodbye to your scurge.
