Best fish stock for 40g breeder

I have a 40g breeder and i know for sure im getting two wyoming white clowns but idk where to go after that. What fish are good for a 40g and my second question is off tooic. When should i buy a clean up crew?

Buy your CUC when you start to notice algae for them to eat...otherwise, you need to supplement their diets with seaweed.

2 clowns in a 40g may be a bit aggressive toward other fish since there will be minimal room for other fish to hide and claim as their own space. I've seen it done without problems, though. Create a unique rock aquascape that breaks up some sight-lines so fish can move around without constantly being in the vision of other fish...out of sight, out of mind.
