Best food for Anemone's

What do you feed your Anemone's-- ?

They are not picky. I've fed krill, mysis, pieces of formula one, anything with a meaty, protein base will be fine. They can also eat fish and crabs, I've seen it happen.

I really don't feed my anemone often. I have good lighting and this allows for the zooxanthallae to provide nourishment for the anemone through photosynthesis. I occasionally will feed meaty foods such as shrimp (no shell), clams, scallops, squid, mysis and similar foods. I do not recommend feeding silver sides. I have heard too many horror stories of the anemone dying shortly after eating them.

I have a large Bubble tip anaemone. I feed it silversides about weekly and have never had any problems.

I don't think feeding is necessary. Strong light and clean water makes mine grow like a weed.
