Best food for small Regal angel

EasyReefs Masstick is great for picky fish. Try stuffing it into a clam shell or coral skeleton for a regal

I prefer to mix foods.
Angels i use:
Hikari mega marine algae and regular
San Francisco angel butterfly diet
LRS
And if there are corals
Hikari coral gumbo

Small pieces of scallop cut to the size of a medium 2mm pellet. Offer only about 2-4 at a time.

Thanks it is picking at the live rock but would like to see it eat more I do have mega marine angel and will probably chop it up a little more

All of my little guys have a much better feeding response with powerheads left on during feeding.

Masstick, bits of clam, scallop or mysis smashed onto the live rock may help as well

Mine took a week to start eating frozen . One eats very well, the second still very little. Still trying to get them on pellets. LRS cut really fine and mixed with mysis and spirallina brine. Luckily I have a slightly dirty tank and they graze on the rocks

+1 Regals seem to like more natural offerings. By that I mean that some like to "pick" rather than gobble readily from the water column.
Mine will eat some from the water column (LRS Reef Frenzy) but really chows on LRS inserted in 2 Little Fishies Pouch Feeder. This mesh feeder is closed on sides open on top. Great for angels and butterflies to pick at. Terrible pic but here he is eating from feeder.
By far by Regal loves to eat thawed clam on half shell. Mine is very imprinted on me. He likes me to hold clam, as he rips at it for a few bites. Then I drop it on sandbed.
I put Masstick in an empty clam shell. Sometimes as (@GoldeneyeRet does) I use Masstick mixed with meaty foods. I just to bind mixture to a clam shell
For picky shy Regals clams seems to be a favorite. Regals are individuals, so try different things and observe. Mine won’t eat Mega Marine Angel but loves LRS. But def try clams.

Mine like dry food. Mixtures of flakes and pellets. Does eat frozen mysis but not a lot. They love oyster on the 1/2 shell

As others have mentioned LRSFoods have a great track record of getting finicky fish, including angels to eat. Fresh clams, oysters, scallop, shrimp, fish eggs, blackworms, etc. really does the trick.
