I have been back and forth about which light would be the best for my 60 cube. MH is out of the question. I think the 8 bulb Ati 24" wouldn't produce enough par maybe I'm wrong. I was thinking Radion G4 or Hydra 26. Looking for experienced opinions. Please no ticking matches

I have an 8 bulb ati on my 93 cube and even without actinic led strips it was 150 par on the sandbed and 400 par in the middle.

An 8 bulb T5 will produce plenty of light.

Just out of curiosity, why is a halide out of the question? I'm quite happy with the 250w 14,000k Hamilton over my 60 cube.

WEll the G4 and the Hydra 26 are not on the same playing field. The G4 is more suitable to the size aquarium.

If those are your choices I would look at the following:
Radion XR30W G4
Hydra 52 HD

Both of those lights are about the same in what they offer with each other and either will do a great job for your reef. Just choose the one with the best options for your application.

8 bulb ati over 60 cube. Changed from two ai sol 2 mos. ago. Sps have doubled growth rate since.
