Best (free) 3d rendering software?

I'm planning to design a fish room and sump / filtration setup for a future build. My question is what is the best 3d modeling / CAD software to use? It doesn't have to be free but if possible that would be great. I want to be able to design the room including the electrical and outlet placement, floor drain etc. Then also be able to model the sump and filtration equipment and plumbing setup as best as I can. I've seen some build threads with awesome 3d renders of the build in the planning stages... That's what I'm looking for!

Sketchup is the best “free” option. I prefer Fusion 360 as it offers many more additional features but it isn’t free. Spaceclaim is another great (not free) option.

Earlier stuff is spaceclaim, more recent build (12G) is Fusion 360.
