I am starting a new tank and i want the best growth possible without the hassles. I live in texas so the output of heat of MH is an undesireable issue that im trying to avoid. T-5s are a possibility but with cost of a proven T-5 with bulbs the price range is the same. Im thinking of either kessil or reef breeders leds. I just havent found any proof of good growth for coral. Ive seen amazing color ups of frags over time under kessil, none from the RB.... but id probably have to get two kessils to cover the spread as opposed to one RB.

Don't take my word for it, research more, but I'm pretty sure LED's will work fine. They'll be cheaper in the long run because they'll last longer, are low power, and the lowest heat out of all types of lights.

Hope that helps...

Thats the issue at hand. Research has led me to wanting to see physical results rather than a written review of a product that essentialy all say the same thing just to catch your eye. What im looking for is proven growth from users of that particular light. Id love to see just a 2 or 3 month before and after pics to show what results certain lights produce. And over a longer period of time would be even better.
