Best heater for im nuvo 20g pro.

I am finishing my nuvo 20g build and I realized that I dont even have a heater yet. I was going to get an eheim heater but the ones sized for my tank are too big and wont fit in the aio portion of the tank. It seems the deepest compartment is 8 inches. What do you guys reccomend? I dont plan on using something like a cobalt neotherm.

Unfortunatley I've always had bad experiences with those little guys not being in the right temp range for me.

this one keeps it at 77.8 pretty well, but i might have just gotten lucky.

I have the same tank and use the Cobalt. Why don't you want to use one?

If you don’t want ehiem, or cobalt maybe try a titanium finnex or BRS with and inkbird controller.

The finnex may work. It's short enough to fit in the back which is a big plus. Do they work well?

On my tanks I use an ehiem, two neotherms, a cobalt true temp and the preset heaters. I never have used the titanium ones yet. Going forward I’m just going to continue to use the ehiems on the inkbirds. I like the redundancy so the tank doesn’t overheat.

I have the 100 watt Cobalt neotherm on my 20 gallon frag tank that I just set up. It’s in the basement and I keep the house at 66. I also have the 100 watt Nemotherm on my 32gallon biocube. Both the ehiem and neotherm have three year warranties but I plan on replacing them yearly anyhow.

I'm so ready to start cycling this tank. I just need more salt and a heater

It's going to be a frag system with a pink streak wrasse and a lawnmower blenny.
Will be using ai prime for the light and jebao powerhead for circulation.
However when I move at some point in the future it will be a display tank with a pair of clowns a filefish goby and a tailspot blenny.
I just finished the custom stand I made and am filling it with rodi water as we speak.

Ignore the light. it's a junk light I had laying around until I get a prime. I just wanted to have some light in it lol

Very nice. Impressive stand. I just put a yellow coris wrasse in my 20 frag for now. I went cheap, Jeboa ow-10 , viparspectra , and tidal hob filter. I have a tail spot blenny along with a mccosker flasher wrasse in QT now for my dt.. A pink streak is on my list for my display along with a couple of fairy wrasses

I’ve also got a cobalt neotherm on my Nuvo 20! I would also recommend booking up to an inkbird controller as a failsafe!!

The stand was a first attempt. Tbh I've never touched a circular saw before haha. Only cost me $40. My short term goal is frag tank and long term Is a nice display tank

Its 9 3/4 inches long which wont fit. So I ordered the 75 watt so I think it will work just fine!
