Best Kalkwasser solution?

Im looking to start using a Kalkwasser solution soon, what is the best one/brand to use? Price? Amount for price?

How do you plan on using it reactor or premix container?!?

Premix, I don't have room for a reactor currently.

I have been happy with using a combination of the Icecap Magnetic Kalk Mixer and a Neptune DOS to release a controlled daily dose of 2 gallons per day. The only maintenance required being taking off the super easy top cap and adding some kalk every couple weeks.

I use BRS Kalk, no complaints.

BRS uses pharm grade kalk and it’s really cheap. You can mix it in your ATO reservoir for the simplest solution.

Only problems with that is :
1. possible ato failure dumping more kalk then needed.
2. demands are not meet due to evaporation limitations
3. It’s hard on the pump which can lead to failure .

+1 for BRS Kalk

I use BRS kalk in my ATO and it's been great. I rarely have to dose calcium and use minimal amounts of alk.

I also use the BRS kalk in my previous solution, indeed it is great. Using the mag mixer and DOS eliminates the possibility of ato failure or overdose. Also there is zero strain on any pump. All the DOS is doing is pulling RO water from a reservoir and feeding it into the reactor, and the overflow kalk mix goes into the sump.
