So i have a 65gallon reef tank with lps and 10 zoa frags.I've been using the red sea salt(blue bucket) for 7-8 months and i recently changed to tropic marin. My kh with the red sea was about 7.7-8.1 every week and yesterday with tropic marin got down to 7.3...i really don't like so low alkalinity and i want to raise it again at about 8...Is there a specific alkalinity level which works best with lps(and my zoanthids)???

Its what they get used to
I have mostly softies, LPS and a few SPS. My tank runs about 10.5 ALK. Pretty high nutrient levels because my NPS tank is plumbed to it.

well yeah i agree...i was just wondered if there is a specific level that makes grow faster for example.I know that there is a "rule" in sps corals that higher alk means more growth and lower alk more color .( i hope i am not mistaken)
