looking for some input on LED lighting with mounting kept in mind. keeping tank open top, no canopy and trying to avoid hanging lights from ceiling. I purchased Radion xr30 pro Gen3 (4) but was worried i may not get coverage to front of tank or full 36". i planned to use mounting arms and have changed to the multi light bracket.. considering adding more radions or just going with another option completely. maybe orphek atlantik 3, geisemann vervve but I'm open to suggestions. any input is appreciated. thanks

Have you looked at the Hydra 26 hd's?

someone recommended the kessils. I've pretty much looked into just about every led option. i just want to make sure I'm getting the coverage i need. i think the openings are 36 x 21 with the braces separating into 3 sections

the kessils look like a nice option, its the mounting arm thats got me questioning if it will reach the front of the tank. I'm trying desperately not to hang a mount from the ceiling.

I really like my 26's, I thought I would suggest looking at these lights

Those reef breeder Photon 2s look dope. Put two of those side by side. You get the length and the width. You get a lot of lights for a Big Bang for your buck. Plus the light source would be very spread out, minimizing the LED shadow effect.

planning to use the AI 72" mounting rails. so def smthg that works with that set up.
so far i like the hydra 26/52, kessil, orphek v3 & radions. seems like the kessil offers the most coverage. the v3 is nice but most expensive option.. radion was initial choice but i think id need at least 5... the hydras or kessils are my top options rt now

IMO Kessil AP700 Is much better than Hydra's hands down. Better PUR, of which is more important than PAR. High Quality and cost effective with excellent flexibility. My choice would be 1) Orphek 2) Kessil 3) Radion Pro
4) Ecotech 5) AquaRay

Dont forget the Sirius XTC

Even if they are 3 watt knockoffs...You have the PAR for SPS...PUR for those able to measure easily...

Well Done...Just be careful to keep the flow up as those colonies grow.

Also not knowing your specific light be prepared if one goes out.

3 of the Photon 32-V2s would cover that tank well for around $1,7125, and you can sit them right on the rim of the tank with the included mounting legs. All 3 will program on the same wireless remote. They use Cree LEDs and have 6 dimming channels with sunrise and sunset simulation, and built in mounting legs as well.
