Just thinking of going to led instead on buying new bulbs for my 6 tube t5. I just want the best bang for the buck. I wanna have enough power for pretty much anything I put in the tank.

I switched from halogen to kessil and have been able to add: torch, hammer, zoas, photosynthetic sea whip, and my Xenia and hairy mushrooms have grown exponentially! I have two pendants on a 55 gallon long.

I have 3 reef Radiance but I think I am about to switch over to ocean revive from the reviews I have read and the price

Ecotech xr30w pro for power

However, I find that nanobox lights really emulate the metal halide spectrum well.

There is no single answer to this question.

You will get many variations of what people have and like.
Agreed

You will have the crowd that swear by the chinese black boxes and you'll have the ecotech fanboys (myself) tell you that there's the best. My only suggestion to you on deciding qhat led to buy is first settle on a budget, second what features do you deem nessesary and third is it really cheaper and better than just simply replacing your 6 t5 bulbs. My answer to the last part is just stick with the t5's and get good bulbs.

So if I keep the t5 and replace the bulbs, is there any limitations on what I can have in tank? 6x54 should be enough power for just about anything I would think.

What size tank?

So is the ocean revive artic so26 gonna actually help my coral with growth and health over the t5, or just the led look better?

ocean revives use 3w bridgelux and are the same as an upper chinese led. they just rebrand them.

dsuny
ocean revive
reef breeders will give the same pur/par as radions but use 3w bridgelux as well.

of course if you have money to blow. go for kessils, followed by radions.

you could go super cheap with the ebay boxes like mars aqua. lot of people swear by them and they are throw away.

what leds are they running? cree?

bridgelux is a pretty decent bulb, regardless the builder grade container.

They use epistar diodes, which are on par with bridgelux if not a little better. Epistar is who cree uses for their Chinese diodes. Same diodes that Reef radiance uses in their lights.

I like the Kessels. Have 2 over my 75.
I see Kessel has a new LED you can prebuy from BRS. It looks impressive
