That Orbit looks like way more than I need for a Fish Only Tank.Hello,
I would say by far would be the 72 inch orbit marine pro (not the ic loop one). It has more than enough power to do any corals or clams and will easily handle fish. The other lights that work extremely well are the fluval marine 2.0 especially for fish only. They will handle most corals also but high demanding sps (ones that need extreme light) they can’t handle. You could do a clam but you would need to have it within 8 inches of the surface. If you go with the current ic pro it comes with two 72 inch strips and that would be much better also than the one your suggesting.
I run three of the current orbit marine pros on my 240 and they simply stunning. Plus currents customer service and warranty

I'm running the 48" model of these and really like them. Also running two of the wave pumps off the same controllerThat Orbit looks like way more than I need for a Fish Only Tank.
Just got mine a couple days ago. Love itCheck put the new Orphek OR strip series. Reefbrites are expensive and underpowered
Sweet, what size and type?Just got mine a couple days ago. Love it
I got the OR 120 UV so it's 48" UV/Violet spectrum. This light is a complimentary light to my existing setup for more colorSweet, what size and type?
Do you guys feel the OR120 along with the ATI t5 setup would be good for the morning/night blues - and for the coral color pop everyone looks for?
I wish they had longer strips though.
I am working on a 60" ATi - and these are only 48 max.
Shoot them an email. When I sent an email to them they were very fast to respond and readily answered all questions. Great customer serviceDo you guys feel the OR120 along with the ATI t5 setup would be good for the morning/night blues - and for the coral color pop everyone looks for?
Reefbrite XHOs are an option. I personally have a pair of the SBREEF Sbar actinic strips. 4:1 ratio of 450nm Cree royal blues and 420nm violets
Talking with Orphek they can also make the light to suit your needs whether you are looking for color or pop. Depending on what you want they will install the corresponding lenses on the leds. At least for me that was the caseThe RB XHO is what i had planned... but then the reefers here mentioned it being even less powerful than the OR strips...
i just feel like the RF is super expensive for a strip of blue lights.
but if they were strong enough to make the corals color up then i can see the point.
I am researching the OR strips as well to see if they are best bang for the buck.
