Hello fellow Bay Area reefers. I was wondering if you could point me I the right direction. I’m looking for a quality local fish store that has a good variety of corals that are not riddled in Aptasia. The 2 LFS I’ve visited were very disappointing. One was in Vallejo and the other was in concord. I’m new to the hobby and could immediately spot how all of the tanks were covered with Aptasia. I’m technically in Crockett, ca which is a small town across the bridge from Vallejo. I’m about 27 miles from SF. I would prefer something close but willing to drive. Thanks guys in advance!!

Neptune aquatics. But you"ll pay more here. Most of the time its worth it.

For fish, i like clearwater aquarium on saratoga.
They were able to go handpick at the wholesalers while I waited.
But youll absolutely want to quarantine anything from them. Great group of guys and nice fish but shop is a bit stinky lol.

Plus one to Neptune Aquatics. I've been out of the hobby for a bit and moved to Idaho but if Aquatic Gallery is still around they had very clean stock

Unfortunately AG is closed down.

Also another shop i used to frequent was ultimate aquarium in san mateo.
I havent been there in years but they had a decent setup too.

Ive also heard good things about SJreef and hes a reseller here as well.
I dont know if his shop is open to public or by appt only.

And we cant forget montereybaycorals here :)

+1 for Neptune Aquatics. In case you're wondering, they do not have a telephone #. But they have a huge selection and can't beat their $9.99 selection, and up to $Don't bother to ask selection. You'll find $9.99 strawberry shortcake SPS to chalice to Aussie/Indo torches.
+1 for Aquatic Collection in Hayward. Better place for fish selection than coral (compared to Neptune Aquatics)

Violet Aquarium in San Jose across from Santa Clara University has great selections of fish, and the best part is all fish were quarantined for 1 week before released to the public, but you will still have to treat them in a separate holding tank just to make sure.
