Best light for a frag tank? Ready....Poll

Whats the best light in your opinion for a 20x20x9 frag tank? The coral will obviously be always changing from lps and sps.

Great thread! I voted T5 because that is what I am going to run on my frag tank in the next few weeks. I think you should run whatever is on your main display to keep things consistant.

Best advice ever. Far easier to move corals back and forth without a second thought.

While they work well when they work. When they don't expect huge hassle to get them fixed. Going through it now.

I would go t5 and be sure to hang them higher. 9 inches is not very tall so be careful.

Well I run halides on my dt but had to try an led Vega and the frag tank, led has been running for a week now to early to give my opinion

If not the same fixture, at least the same kind of light (i.e. led, mh or t5)

I have a 4' x 2' x 14" FT and a 2' x 2' x 10" tank next to it and I run OceanRevive S026 leds. Really well made light and great price. I can't wait to get my hands on their new Arctic T247 with built in timers and digital dimmers!
