Best Light for cost.

Any light you can adjust intentisy, it may say 165watt but you may not use this unless your setting up sunbed for yourself :) I have just adjusted mine up to 30% blue and white, after 4 months, from 15% to 25% to 30% for my own aquarium, as long as you can adjust output

I really like the @noopsyche K7 V3's. I still run vipars on my fowlr but there is a big difference. They are affordable and almost always on sale as well.. Best of luck :)

Anything you do to slow the growth of the ugly algaes will slow the growth of everything else too. I see no reason to delay the process of selecting for the pretty stuff in our little reefs. Mature and full tanks don't have much ugly algae in them.
Once I had established a nice coralline base, I ditched the 10Ks and switched over to ATI Aquablue Special (1), Coral+ (1). I replaced the stock blue bulbs with Blue+ (2).

lets start from the basics. What do you need? fish only? softies, lps, sps? is the look important? do you need bluetooth/wifi control or just automation? electricity cost important?
