hi everyone, currently have. 29biocube packed to the seems with frags and going to upgrade. After much thought have decided to go with the 50 gallon lowboy over deep blues rr 60 gal frag tank. The only thing left to decide on is the lighting. I use a prime now and the growth is amazing but wondering wither to go with so hydra 26, Radion xr13 or Kessil 360w. My legs used radions and I see places like wwc that uses radions and just don’t know if they are worth the price tag. Any help with be greatly appreciated

I'm following to see what others say. I currently have two Orphek OR120 bars that will go over my 50 gallon lowboy but if I was going to triple my lighting budget I would go with two Xr15s with diffusers.

Any insight from anyone would be much appreciated

Those are all good options, I think it really depends on what you like. Just frags in the tank or will you be growing out colonies? That will impact shading issues if it's just a frag tank then shading isn't a huge deal. Since you like primes, which are nice lights, why not just go with multiple primes or hydra 26s?

I plan on growing colonies of zoas and palys and maybe some chalices. I thought about doing ai primes but thought it would be too messy with all the cords and would be better with higher lights

A kessil would probably look great over that system then! I hate color separation in leds so I use either a lot of units or kessils.

I have the same tank and am planning on growing out mainly zoas and palys as well. I was all set on getting 3 Orphek OR120's but plans changed and I will be running a 4 bulb t5 fixture for now. If I were to go with a puck style LED it would be Kessil.
