so what would you guys say would be the best light for zoas to get all the colors out in a frag tank?
ive done some research and am leaning towards mh being the answer but as always, you can only get so much info using search.

the thing im puzzled on is cherry charms look like what they're suposed to under mh but looks like pink and gold under t5.

I have 2 a350 kessils and running a fiji purple and a blue plus T5 , the fiji purple has a good spectrum of red and the colors all look great, plus the LEDs really give that shimmer and the growth has been awesome as well.

MH, T5 and LED are all good for corals as long as you know what to do with it.

I also will be starting a frag tank full of just z's and p's. I'm left with debating if I should stick with the kessil that they are currently using or buy a t5 to get the best colors out of them. What do you all suggest? Is either on 15k ocean blue kessil or a t5 combo of ATI blue plus, figi purple, 10k, ATI blue plus in that order

my Kessil grew my z's and p's very very well

I already have a frag tank running with a 4 bulb blue+ x2 purple plus and an ati actinic.
My new lighting is 3 a350 tuna blue along with 2 purple plus bulbs, this is a larger frag tank 48x24x8!

I have better grow for zoa under LED than MH.
I was thinking of going mh and led but my tank will be in the garage and Cali has viciously hot days in the summer and I don't want to buy a chiller because that's extra $

Maybe put the MH on a temp controller....if the tank temp climbs to X than the lights go off to help regulate it a bit. Just a thought....

I ran 5 blue + and a kz figi purple and they all grew like weeds for me on a 40 breeder and kept the water somewhat dirty
