best lighting for 36 gallon tank

I need to buy a light for my tank. i currently have 2 clownfish and a couple of snails and crabs but i want to slowly start to add corals. Any suggestions?

Define your goals in more detail (SPS, LPS, softies, etc.). Set a budget. Check out some BRS videos. Measure your tank's dimensions and use the aforementioned resources to help determine a lighting system that will best work for your goals and budget. Then rent a PAR meter and set the right intensity. Do some R2R searches as well...tons of info and suggestions. Welcome to R2R and Happy Reefing!
