What is the best lighting in your mind?

GHL? XR30? AP700?

I still don't feel there is anything that has been released that beats orpheks unless it's a specialized situation like a pico or a really deep 36" tank or similar.

There is no best, just best for you.

However, I would also use Orphek v4 is somebody made me use LED. I like panels over pucks. I don't care at all about apps or apex "control."

Photon V2 would be my second, but at some distance.

Just me, perhaps, but I would not consider a Kessil unless for a nano tank.

Depends on the tank and coral but I’d say
Orphek v4
Gen4 30XR pros
Photon v2
Hydra
Kessil(great for lps)
Sbreef
noopsyche
Blackboxes

I would never use fluval or current USA again, therefor they don’t make any list.

Dream setup would be MH with orphek supplements for me.

Among your posted options, if SPS or difficult anemones and clams are on your list
GHL
XR30
Kessil

In order from best to worst

But I would put the Orphek v4 above all those options. Better spectrum and blending

MH with Orphek supplements :), I love it.
As far as the list I would say ghl then radions then kessil. But would put Orphek at the top if it was me.

Here is my gigas clam's one month growth from top to bottom and an acro's 3 month growth under orpheks. The work well IMO.

Since green, brown, and red algae have distinct absorption characteristics, there is no universal 'best' light, so it really does depend upon what appeals to you. Personally, I am currently using Orphek and Noopsyche.

This is surprising to me. I have been using (2) Current USA Loop Pro 24" lights in my latest setup. That would be a total of (4) 24 inch fixtures.

For my application, (the tank is only 12 inches high), these lights have been fantastic! Good coral growth, lots of features and 9600 lumens at the bottom of the tank (I don't have a par meter).

So I agree with @jda; it is what's best for YOU and your application,
