I have a 75 gallon bow front and currently use the orbit marine current led programmable light it's 36 to 48 inch. Twice now it has just randomly shot off on me. What is the best light so use for my tank that is affordable to a disabled vet?

It depends on what kind of corals you want to keep. SPS usually like a lot of light so you would go with 6 or 8 bulb T5 lighting, metal halides or higher wattage LED bulbs or fixtures. LPS or softies would not need the same intensity of lighting.

ok i ordered a t5 6 bulbs with led moon lighting that I can program so we shall see. I have been very lucky as a newbie I think because all my animals coral and anemones are growing and thriving and some I later found are considered expert only and hard to keep. My sea bay has over doubled in size and is always very pink and even glows at night... I thought that was cool.
