best lights for growing coral on amazon

want to set up a new tank but my budget is low. anyone on here bought or know of a light on amazon that can grow corals and won’t empty my bank account.

That's actually what I will be using on my frag tank.... I did some research and haven't hear a bad thing about them

Those are the ones total gardens use, but there is also a cheaper version but the cheap one is not ul listed

will be about 30in by 15in not sure about the height but it’s the same height as other frag tanks. only softies and sps no lps. like $100 and lower[emoji51]

It's above $100 (about double that) but I just bought an Ocean Revive T247 from amazon. It fits my aquarium with similar dimensions, offers two channels, and a timer. It might be worth it to save the extra $100 if you can and go for it. That way, if you're gone, your light pattern will continue.

To be honest, it will probably depend on how high your going to mount them.

Edit:In the description it does say 30in max coverage at 12in high.

A local guy here has a 120 gallon, 10 year old SPS tank with a number of T247's mounted over it. He's got enormous staghorn and montipora colonies that are literally growing out of the water at the top of the tank and stony corals all the way down on the sandbed with almost no shading issues. Some of the best colors I've ever seen in person, too. Highly recommend saving a little extra and going for the T247. Check Craigslist. Someone sells them new here for $150...

Try looking into SB reeflights. Hard to beat for the price.

Otherwise a 4 bulb T5 light would do the trick.
