Hi...Can anyone suggest me the best liquid reagents for Reefbot. I am planning to test all the parameters and I am not sure on which brands to get for. Reefkinetics page has a lot of Brands listed but I am not sure which one to pick for.

I am planning to buy all the reagents during thanksgiving .Hopefully some good deals may come.

Really appreciate your suggestions and help!!!

I dont understand why this thread hasnt takenoff. I kow theres a ton of info on preferred test kits for the reefbot but itd be nice if were all in oe place.

I test Elos alk, API calcium, Red Sea mag, Fauna Marin nitrate, and Red Sea phosphate. I swap out the 3 nitrate vials for the 3 mag vials when I want to test mag. It’s pretty easy and quick to do. Attached below is a list of the tests available for the reefbot and how many vials each use and also duration. Hope that helps.

Thanks thats very helpful. If you dont mind me asking, why do people prefer fauna marin nitrate over api?

No problem! It’s the accuracy of the test. API nitrate is good when cycling, but if you want to monitor levels below 5ppm, it is difficult to do so. Whereas with Fauna Marin, you can discern the result down to 1ppm. Red Sea Nitrate Pro test let’s you test even further down to 0.25ppm but it’s not compatible with the Reefbot. I haven’t tried Tropic Marin because I couldn't find it so I went with Fauna instead.

Does anyone know if you can mix fauna marin n03 reagent with tropic marin n03 test kit?
