Best Local Fish Store in Raleigh, NC Area?

I am visiting in Raleigh, NC for a couple of days and just wanted to know if there is a local Reef or Freshwater Planted store I should visit. What do y'all have to recommend?

Fintastic of wake is cool and has outstanding prices. Pretty new but they do a big business.

The Reef farm is pretty cool and you pay no tax on live stock! Ask to see their aquaculture vats and greenhouse.

Yeah, Grace only opens up Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. They primarily sell to stores. There is an event at the fair grounds tomorrow from 12 to 6

Dropped by Fintastic and enjoyed the store. I wanted to buy corals and jump on the plane for home!!!! Don't know what fairgrounds you are speaking about but I am sure that would be awesome. Trying to get together with some of my wife's family tomorrow so not sure I can swing ReefSmart. Y'all enjoy it for me okay?

If I can sqeeze in a visit I will...thanks for the suggestion. Woops they are 88 milles in the wrong direction but the Google pages pictures look great. Looks like a place I would love to shop.

To bad I missed the opportunity to see Grace's operation. Who would not want to see a coral farm after all? I will keep the business information in case I ever open a store in the Pacific Northwest.

I would suggest to visit Reefsmart tomorrow. I think you will enjoy it a lot. Joe knows reef will there with his collection and lot of local vendors across NC and SC. There are nice raffles too.

I don't know if the family will forgive me. lol. But if you see some guy in dark sunglasses and a hat pulled low that avoids cell phone photos...it might just be me...but you can never know for sure. I will try to stop by. To bad I don't have a tank ready to receive coral on the other end of my flight Sunday. I would love to learn more by seeing how the pros do it in NC. Thanks for the information and invite.
