Hi all i was wondering what you think the best LPS is for higher nitrates and the easiest to care for

What do you consider high nitrate? Nitrate is kind of a not well understood thing with corals as there is no consensus as to what is a problematic number for corals except for having 0ppm is typically bad. It is best to keep nitrates in a recommended range and then add whatever corals you want.

@exnisstech @Spare time its about 50ppm I have some clove polyps rn in there that are fine and a zoa which is also fine

OK. That's higher than I keep mine so I can't really comment much. I keep mine around 20 in this mixed reef with some. Large LPS

You can easily lower high nitrates to whatever level you want with vodka or vinegar. Then you can keep any coral you’d like.

Candy Canes usually did fine for me in Fish Only tanks with super high nitrates. Torches and hammers did not. The candy cane corals grew much fast, like around twice as fast, when I kept the nitrates under 10 or 20.

Duncans, Hammers, Frogspawn, Astreopora, Candy Canes are all good for high nitrates IME.

However another limiting factor is fish stock.
