I cant remember but pretty sure I seen folks talking about certain sea plants can remove higher concentrations of different things.
Is there a macro algae that will consume more Co2 than others?

TIA

I have had the best luck with sea lettuce (ulva) and a red turf like algae from Florida. Can’t remember the name, but grows like a week in floating mats. Doesn’t stick to rocks, so technically non invasive if it does make it to the dt. Tangs also love it lol.

My tank in my office has the red stuff and it alone helped with a lowish ph. Not a huge amount, as the fuge is small, but .2 - .3 across the board day and night with the fuge running 24/7. On reverse light cycle, it was .2- .3 when fuse was running and .1-.2 when fuge was off, as the in gassing of co2 had to compete with less co2 already in the water. If that makes sense lol.
