Hey reefers,

I need to buy a new cleaner because I have the stick with the blade and pad but the blade is dulled and won't get my hard brown algea off the glass and it's a pain to use. What are the best magnet cleaners in your opinion ? I was looking at the flipper? Any thought on this product or any others that you find have better performance?

Thanks happy reefing

I'll also throw my vote in for the tunze care.

Ditto on the Tunze, comes in nano, long, and strong sizes....

Tunze Care.
Only downsides are it doesn't float (but this means it's cheaper since you are not paying for them to license the floating patent) and it's a little narrow so it makes gripping it a little more tiring.
But it will be the magnet least likely to scratch your tank.

Flipper flips from bladed side, to scouring side while allowing you to keep your hands out of the water.

Thanks for all the answers ! I have tough brown algae spots I can't scrap off and coralline algae. Is the standard flipper good at removing hard algae?

Hated tunze! Got flipper instead. The dam tunze does not float. Also it's very skinny and was hard to maneuver. Fell in tank a few times.

Can't you just somehow tie a string/fishing line to the Tunze and then if it accidentally detaches you can pull it back out and not loose it on the bottom of the tank?
