Best Method to Reduce PO4

Reefer XL 425 mixed reef with 0.4ppm phosphate level.

What is everyones recommendation for reducing the levels? I've been using Phosguard for a few weeks no with no success. They haven't budged.

Phosguard, Chemi-Pure, or NoPOx?

I used to use GFO, nopox and ATM agent green but ended up using siporax and so far been very satisfied with just the siporax. No chemical used but natural biofiltration and keeps both my nitrates and phosphates in check

Any kind of GFO. I personally use BRS (gonna get the bigkahuna 10 lb GFO bags they have on eBay for $100 after). Anything will work honestly, but the cheaper it is, the shorter it lasts from what I have heard. I can easily get 2 months out of BRS GFO in my Biocube 32.

GFO in a reactor or Lanthanum Chloride (research how to use this as it can effect fish or drop PO4 too fast) probably work best.

Used 125mL in a media bag placed into a media cup in stock reefer sump. Directions would have me used 185mL but I purchased a 250mL jar. So yes, I technically used a bit less than as directed, but numbers haven't budged.

I have a stock reefer refugium with a Kessil H80 light that runs from 8pm-8am. Chaeto and caulerpa in fuge and it is growing. Maybe I will try that thank you!

I do not feed heavy at all. I was using a powdered coral food only once per week. Also feed Brightwell marine snow Reef Nutrition Phyto-Feast about once per week. As directed. I feed my clowns mostly Omega One pellets.

This is a re-booted system as I bought it used. I am guessing it's from re-using the sand! Although I did rinse it multiple times until it was as clean as I could get it!

Havnt heard of Siporax. Where do you buy it?

Why not Chemi-pure? And do you think I can get away without a reactor? I like keep equipment and clutter to a minimum.

Are you seeing any ill effects? I do run phosguard as a precaution, but now that my tank is 5 years old, I have no algae issues so I doubt I even need the phosguard. Don't chase numbers if your tank is happy.
