I am looking at different reflectors for my standard 90 and was wondering what you guys/gals thought would do the best. I am going to be running dual 250w SE bulbs and i was thinking of going with the Lumenbright Mini but would love ya'lls opinion. Thnaks for the help in advance.

My suggestion would be LED's:)

To answer your question I would use any of these guys. Either Lumenarc, Lumenbrights or Lumenmax elite. I would also consider LEDs if you are just starting up. The upfront cost can get up there but you will save a ton in the back end. I am considering LEDs for my 270g DT sometime next year but the cost to replace all 3 of my 400w halides with 4 LED fixtures say from Luke at Reeffiltraion would cost me around $1700. Alot of loot to throw at some light especially when I already have lighting.

I think your best bet for a standard 90 is the Lumenmax 2 at 11 x 15". I believe the Lumenbrite Mini is 16 x 16, so it doesn't allow room for any supplemental lighting. They both give similiar performance. I'd wait till Radium comes out with an LED bulb before considering those disco lights, after awhile they'll give you a headache.....

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. The LEDs are way out of the picture. Not looking to spend $800 per fixture right now. I do however like the Lumenmax 2. But at $160 are they really worth it?

I went to replace my bulbs last year and ended up leaving with 2 Lumenmax Elite reflectors and it has been one of my best impulse buys ever..

I would definitely suggest the Lumen Bright® SE Wide Pendant made by CoralVue. They will give you the best spread of light considering you are running two fixtures over a 48" Long tank.
