Best nano ato??

Smart ATO nano

I like my Tunze Ozmolator Nano. A bit more expensive, but I had a Reefbreeders and man that thing never shut up. I like that the electrical housing is away from the water in the Tunze and the pump runs continuously when necessary. Only downside is potential issues with a mechanical switch, but I periodically jigger it just to be safe.

I prefer dialing in my evaporation with a peristaltic pump and making seasonal adjustments. The Spectrapure Litermeter is my go to. No floats or sensors to fail. You don't need to switch it off during maintenance. It will just keep your tank topped up for years and years without fail. Great for kalkwasser too!

This is a pretty small tank. 16 gallon. There's a lot of spectrapure options. It's hard to figure out which to use. I want as little hardware as possible. It's on a canister so equipment has to go in tank.

This ATO has been on my 10g tank and currently running on my 20g system works well really small sensor can be mounted almost anywhere doesnt take up any space and is a cheaper option compared to some of the ones available.

A tank that small might be able to be fed by a simple gravity fed mounted unit - I've never built, but if looking to save money that is an option.

Icecap makes a gravity fed ato for 18$ on brs. That might work. I really just need it for the days in not at work. Thank for all the info reef peoples!

The standard Litermeter is what I've been using since the mid Nineties. Nothing goes into the tank, just the end of the tubing. They are pricey but absolutely reliable. I like the gravity fed option too.
