Best Nano skimmer for your buck!!!

im wondering what the best HOB skimmer for a 20 gallon long reef tank would be . Either best in operation , or best one for your money! Doesn't have to be crazy money , will probably upgrade 20 gallon sooner then later ! Any recommendations appreciated ! Thanks

I would recommend the aquamaxx hob1 skimmer without hesitation. It has done a great job on my jbj 45.

What if there is no area for skimmer to sit in?

I would recommend the aquamaxx hob1 skimmer without hesitation. It has done a great job on my jbj 45.

Does it overflow during break in period ?

No, just set the collection cup high. Plus it has a fitting that you can either allow to over flow back into the skimmer or a larger collection bucket.

The skimmer wasn't sitting on anything it was hanging by a clip to the side chamber. So you could put it in the tank at the rear if seeing it didn't bother you. I think it was about 20-30 cm deep

After some reading I'm torn between reef octopus hob 1000 or aquamaxxx hob . Both are extremely tall, won't they stick way out of the top of a 20 long? I believe both skimmers are 16-17 inches tall. I will need to get one soon.
