best nem for tank raised ocellaris?

I need a good colorful if possible nem for my black and white ocellaris pair. They are tank raised. I have a RBTA they have never looked at. It has been in the tank a year at least. I put in a flower pot they hang out in sometimes, but that is really boring. They have not had eggs that I know of. They seem mature enough to breed. I have a 90 cube plus 25g sump. I have LEDs and 2 PCs. Not sure what nem would be good for them that is somewhat stable typically. I have heard of the carpet and magnifica. Just want opinions or suggestions, thanks! also may sell my healthy RBTA.

My tank raised black and white clowns never took an anemone as a host, some do some don't. Some of the anemones that are the clowns natural host might be more difficult to keep so you have to judge if it's worth it.

The question isn't what is the best anemone. It's will they actually pair :lol: Anyone with tank bred Clowns knows what I'm talking about. I have a wild pair of Percula and they took to an anemone right away. I have a tank bred pair of Picasso Clowns and they hot the back corner of my reef tank. In my opinion Bubble Tips, and Long Tentacled tend to be best. They are both pretty hardy. If you are a more experienced hobbyist, Ritteri are a more natural host but they are notoriously difficult to keep. Good luck!

Like Jeff said, tank raised clowns are kind of a toss up. You never know if they will host or not. And that could go for any kind of nem. When I added my nem I put it in the area my clowns hang out it. It took them a while but my female sleeps in it at night and stays near it during the day. I have semi picassos.

I like the bubble tips. The one I have is a rainbow bta.

Thanks everyone! My clowns are paired, they are inseparable. they do hang out in the back corner, opposite my nem. I will try to move my nem and the big rock it is on and switch sides with the other big rock. Hope the nem likes the switch, lighting, current, etc. It has not moved once it settles, so it might stay put.
