I was doing my monthly testing today, which got me thinking about nitrate and phosphate levels.
What is the best nitrate level for growth?
What is the best nitrate level for color?
What is the best phosphate level for growth?
What is the best phosphate level for color?

Really depends on what type of corals you are housing. Sps like low nitrates less than 10. Lps can handle a little more but i would'nt go much higher. Phosphates should be kept as low as possible in my opinion.

I read that coral grow faster at 2 to 3 ppm Nitrates and get better color at less than 1 ppm Nitrates.
