Best nitrate test

I'm using Hanna for alk,ca, and phosphates. They don't make a nitrate. Which is the best.

Red Sea makes the pro kits. Sometimes they are on sale for like 35 bucks

I use the API reef matter kit which comes with a test for nitrate , calcium , kh and phosphate and seems to b pretty accurate . Haven't really used any others .

The salifert and Elos kits are my favs for no3. I also have a Red Sea kit but it's my least favorite. The colors are NOWHERE near what's on the color wheel that I received.

I agree except the kh doesn't go into detail enough just whole numbers and the phosphate test does not measure low enough. If your Phosphates are at .25 then you already know you have a problem. I prefer salifert for nitrates though.

I'll have to check it out . I'm always looking for a better way to improve my tank . How about for salinity ? I have a hydrometer that I've been using but recently bought a red sea refractometer . Figured I'd give it a try .
