My closest LFS is 60 miles away and isn't very large. What site seems to give the best prices/rebates on equipment?

They are all great! This isn't necessarily pick one and stick with it, most offer rewards points when you make purchases. Reward points can be used on future purchases. Some sites (stores) also do monthly group buys where you can earn even more points!

Check out the Reef2Reef sponsor section and you'll find everything you are looking for! Pods, Fish, Corals, Macro Algae, Lids, Frag Racks and the other thousands of dry goods!

I like BulkReefSupply for 99.9% of my equipment needs. Alternatively MarineDepot does carry some items that BRS doesn't! Amazon is also a good selection, shop around its fun... But it will cost you money! haha

eBay. No rewards, but the equipment is usually cheaper which is a reward in it's self. They do not have everything, though. I got Amazon next and then to Marine Depot or Salty Critter since they have bulbs that Marine Depot does not.

Forgot about the buying and selling forum here. Have to be a member for 30 days and have 50 useful posts. OR Become a supporting member and get instant access if I’m not mistaken!

I basically just follow the sales. Pretty simple that way.

I'm still new here, but so far BulkReefSupply has been great. I ordered the wrong piece and rather than make me send a 1.29 piece back they just refunded me, I know its not much but it's the little things.

Their Customer Service is fantastic!

For reef stuff 1st for me is BRS 2nd is MarineDepot. I also use Dr.ForsterandSmith once in a while. Ebay is good as well. I mostly buy my livestock at the LFSs bit online has become a more varied source for sps at least in my area. I c an say enough good thinhs about BRS. I have used them for years and never had 1 issue, CS is great but I have never needed to use it. I do miss the lower priced bulk kalk and 2 part they sold, I understand supply and higher quality come into place on this. I just wish the price point could have stayed near the same. To me thats what was so great about BRS, I could get my kalk, carbon, gfo, DI and RO filters much cheaper than LFS or other big box pet stores.
