Hey all, I have most of the plumbing for my 75 gallon tank planned out, but I am trying to figure out the overflow. The tank is rimmed, so I would prefer something that would hide the water underneath the rim, but the two big things are noise and leaks.

Currently I am looking at the ESHOPPS Eclipse L and the FijiCube 1200 GPH.

Want an overflow that I can run a bean animal style drain on. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience with either of these two overflows?

I wound up finding a reef ready on marketplace but some of the videos I watched when I was considering getting a 120 rimmed looked like the eclipse would work well.

Take a look at the Modular Marine overflows. Their exterior drain boxes are notched to accommodate the plastic trim on rimmed tanks so that you can hide the waterline. I use an MM overflow on my rimless tank and the fit and finish are top notch. I would suggest their 1600 gph overflow for your 75 gallon tank. Be careful of the Eshopps Eclipse overflows as they have very deep cut weir teeth which make it difficult to hide the waterline without having to partially cut the tank trim in order to move the internal weir box higher.

Here you can see how they notch the exterior box to accommodate the trim on rimmed tanks.
